Stellarity Trinkets & Spellbooks¶
Beyond weapons and armor, Stellarity adds a variety of held items, shields, and passive trinkets that expand your toolkit. Spellbooks give you cooldown-based abilities, shields offer defensive options with offensive twists, and trinkets provide powerful passive effects.
Spellbooks¶
Spellbooks are held items (main hand or off hand) that grant a single ability on a cooldown. They do not consume durability -- just hold one and use it when the cooldown is ready.
How Spellbooks Work
Equip a spellbook in your main hand or off hand. Use it (right-click) to activate its ability. After use, the spellbook enters its cooldown period, shown on the item. You can carry multiple spellbooks and swap between them, but each has its own independent cooldown.
Book of Jinx¶
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Cooldown | 10 seconds |
| Source | Evoker drop (Stronghold) |
Ability
Creates a lingering cloud at the target location. Enemies inside the cloud receive the Jinx debuff, which reduces their defense by 25% for the duration.
Use this before engaging tough enemies or bosses. A 25% defense reduction means your attacks deal significantly more damage. Excellent when paired with Champion Armor's stacking damage bonus.
Book of Light¶
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Cooldown | 31 seconds |
| Source | Evoker drop (Stronghold) |
Ability
Grants the user:
- Regeneration II -- Rapid health recovery
- Resistance I -- 20% damage reduction
- Cures all negative status effects -- Removes poison, wither, weakness, jinx, and any other debuffs
This is your emergency heal button. The long cooldown means you cannot spam it, but in a crisis, it can turn a losing fight around.
Book of Obstruct¶
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Cooldown | 15 seconds |
| Source | Evoker drop (Stronghold) |
Ability
Summons a wall of Shulker blocks at the target location. The wall acts as a physical barrier that blocks movement and projectiles. After 10 seconds, the wall detonates, dealing damage to nearby enemies.
Use defensively to block a corridor while you heal, or offensively by placing the wall on top of enemies and letting it explode.
Book of Updraft¶
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Cooldown | 16 seconds |
| Source | Evoker drop (Stronghold) |
Ability
Launches you 22.5 blocks straight up into the air and grants Slow Falling for 7 seconds. This is both an escape tool and a repositioning ability.
Combine with Elytra for an instant takeoff. Launch straight up, then deploy your Elytra at the apex for maximum glide distance. Also useful for escaping melee enemies or reaching high ledges.
Grand Tome of Teleportation¶
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Cooldown | 20 seconds |
| Source | Evoker drop (Stronghold) / Crafted |
Ability
Fires a controllable spark that you steer with your camera for up to 3 seconds. When the spark expires or you release it, you teleport to its location.
Unlike an Ender Pearl, the spark follows your aim, letting you navigate around corners and through gaps. The 3-second duration limits the range, but the precision is unmatched.
Tome of Return¶
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Cooldown | 60 seconds |
| Source | Crafted at the Altar of The Accursed |
Ability
Begins a 10-second charge. If the charge completes without interruption, you are teleported to your spawn point (bed or world spawn).
The 10-second channel can be interrupted by taking damage. Stand somewhere safe before using it.
This is your "get home free" card. After a long expedition into the End, use the Tome of Return instead of building a portal or walking back. The 60-second cooldown and 10-second charge prevent abuse.
Do Not Get Hit
The Tome of Return's 10-second charge is cancelled if you take any damage. Make sure you are in a safe location before activating it. The Prismarine Forest (no hostile spawns) is an ideal spot.
Shields¶
Stellarity's shields are not just stat sticks -- each one has an active or passive mechanic that changes how you approach combat.
Copper Elektra Shield¶
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Source | Stronghold Vindicators |
Ability: Dash
The Copper Elektra Shield stores dash charges over time. While holding the shield, sneak to consume a charge and perform a dash attack:
- Deals 4 hearts (8 HP) of damage to enemies you pass through
- Knocks targets back 7 blocks
- Moves you rapidly forward
This turns your shield from a defensive tool into an offensive one. Dash through a line of enemies to damage and scatter them, then turn and fight the survivors. Excellent in the Stronghold where Illagers cluster in corridors.
Crest of The End¶
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Source | Crafted at the Altar of The Accursed |
Ability: Blocking Damage Boost
While blocking with the Crest of The End, each hit you absorb grants a +15% damage bonus to your next attack. This bonus stacks up to 3 times, reaching a maximum of +45% bonus damage.
- Block 1 hit: +15% next attack
- Block 2 hits: +30% next attack
- Block 3 hits: +45% next attack
Play the patient game: block a flurry of attacks, then drop your guard and strike with a massively empowered hit. Pairs beautifully with slow, hard-hitting weapons like the Kaleidoscope or Starless Scythe.
Starstruck Shield¶
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Source | 33% drop from Empress of Light (nighttime) |
Ability: Falling Stars
When you are hit while holding the Starstruck Shield (blocking or not), falling stars rain down on the attacker, dealing 4 hearts (8 HP) of damage.
This is a completely passive effect -- you do not need to do anything special. Just holding the shield causes enemies to take retaliatory star damage every time they hit you.
Excellent for the Shulking fight or any situation where you are being swarmed. The more enemies that hit you, the more falling stars rain down.
Other Trinkets¶
These items provide powerful passive effects while held in your hand or inventory (as noted per item).
Enderman's Hand¶
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Effect | +3 block reach |
| Source | Enderman drop (10% chance) |
Details
Extends your interaction and attack range by 3 blocks while held. This applies to both block placement/breaking and melee attacks.
Three extra blocks of reach is enormous. It lets you hit enemies before they can hit you, mine blocks from further away, and place blocks at distances that would normally require bridging. Keep one in your off hand at all times if you are not using a shield or spellbook.
Life Crystal¶
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Effect | Increasing Regeneration while standing still |
| Source | Ender Dragon drop (66% chance) |
Details
While you are standing still and holding the Life Crystal, you gain Regeneration that gradually increases in strength the longer you remain stationary.
The effect resets as soon as you move. This encourages a "fight, then stop and heal" playstyle.
After a tough fight, find a safe corner, stand still with the Life Crystal in hand, and watch your health refill. Much more efficient than eating food for healing, but requires you to be out of danger.
Duskberry¶
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Effect | +12% damage, +10% speed, Night Vision |
| Source | End City ships |
Details
While held, the Duskberry provides three simultaneous buffs:
- +12% damage to all attacks
- +10% movement speed
- Night Vision -- full visibility in dark areas
Found in End City ships. This is one of the best general-purpose trinkets in the game -- three useful buffs with no downside.
Hold the Duskberry in your off hand for a permanent stat boost during exploration. The Night Vision alone makes dark End City interiors much easier to navigate.
Soaring Insignia¶
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Effect | Creative-mode flight |
| Source | Empress of Light (15% night / 100% day) |
The Best Trinket in Stellarity
The Soaring Insignia grants creative-mode flight while held. No Elytra needed, no rockets needed -- just hold it and fly freely in any direction.
Details
While held in either hand, the Soaring Insignia allows you to fly exactly like creative mode: double-tap jump to take off, space to ascend, sneak to descend, and move freely in all directions.
This is the single most powerful mobility item in the game. It trivializes exploration, building, and traversal.
The daytime Empress fight guarantees it at 100%. The nighttime fight has only a 15% chance. If you want the Soaring Insignia reliably, fight the Empress during the day.
Prismatic Pearl¶
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Effect | Infinite reusable Ender Pearl |
| Source | Empress of Light (33% nighttime) |
Details
Functions exactly like an Ender Pearl, but it never breaks. Throw it, teleport, pick it up (it returns to your inventory automatically), and throw it again. No cooldown beyond the travel time.
A quality-of-life dream. No more carrying stacks of Ender Pearls. The Prismatic Pearl is one and done forever. Excellent for quickly crossing gaps, escaping danger, or navigating End City interiors.
Satchel of Voids¶
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Effect | Portable Altar of The Accursed |
| Source | Crafted at the Altar of The Accursed |
Details
A portable version of the Altar of The Accursed. Use the Satchel to open a crafting interface identical to the Altar, allowing you to craft endgame items anywhere without traveling back to the main End island.
This is a huge convenience item. Once you have the Satchel, you can craft Altar recipes in the field -- at End Cities, in boss arenas, or even in the Overworld. Check the Endonomicon for the Satchel's own recipe.
