Stellarity Armor Sets

Stellarity introduces four full armor sets and three Elytra variants, each with a unique identity and set bonus. Choosing the right armor for the right situation is a key part of mastering Stellarity's endgame.

Set Bonuses

Set bonuses only activate when you are wearing all four pieces of a given set (helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots). Mixing sets will give you the individual piece stats but no set bonus.

Champion Armor (Offense)

The aggressive option. Champion Armor amplifies your damage output with every hit.

Base Stats

Stat Value
Armor 20
Armor Toughness 8
Attack Speed +15%
Damage +10%
Knockback Resistance +32%

Set Bonus: Escalating Strikes

How It Works

Each successful melee hit grants +6% damage to your next attack. This bonus stacks up to 5 times, reaching a maximum of +40% bonus damage.

  • Stack 1: +6%
  • Stack 2: +12%
  • Stack 3: +18%
  • Stack 4: +24%
  • Stack 5: +40% (max)

The stacks reset after 3 seconds without landing a hit. This means Champion Armor rewards aggressive, uninterrupted combat -- keep swinging.

Best paired with: Fast weapons like Tamaris (1.6 speed) or The Beginning/The End (2.0 speed) to build and maintain stacks quickly.

How to Obtain

Crafted at the Altar of The Accursed. Recipe requires:

  • Chorus Plating
  • Enderite Template
  • Full set of Netherite Armor (helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots)

Hallowed Armor (Mobility / Evasion)

A balanced defensive set with one of the most powerful set bonuses in the game.

Base Stats

Stat Value
Armor 20
Armor Toughness 12
Knockback Resistance +20%
Jump Height +15%
Sneak Speed +25%
Movement Speed +10%

Set Bonus: Holy Protection

How It Works

When you take any damage (melee, projectile, fire, fall -- anything), Holy Protection activates:

  • All incoming damage becomes 0 for 5 seconds
  • Complete knockback immunity during the window
  • Fire protection and water protection (prevents drowning)
  • A brief speed boost to help you reposition

Holy Protection has a 25-second cooldown after it ends. During cooldown, you take damage normally.

This is essentially a free Totem of Undying effect every 30 seconds. It is exceptionally strong against bosses with burst damage patterns, like the Empress of Light.

Best All-Around Set

Hallowed Armor is widely considered the best general-purpose armor in Stellarity. The mobility boosts help with exploration, and Holy Protection can save your life against almost anything. If you only craft one set, make it this one.

How to Obtain

Two methods:

  1. Crafted at the Altar of The Accursed (check the Endonomicon for the recipe).
  2. Found in End Cities -- Hallowed Armor pieces have a 50-66% chance to appear in End City loot chests, making it possible to assemble a full set without crafting.

Shulker Armor (Tank)

Pure defense. Shulker Armor turns you into an immovable wall that punishes enemies for attacking you.

Base Stats

Stat Value
Armor 20
Armor Toughness 16
Knockback Resistance +80%
Movement Speed -8%
Attack Speed -8%

Trade-Off

Shulker Armor makes you noticeably slower in both movement and attack speed. You will hit less often and move more sluggishly, but you will barely flinch when hit and shrug off enormous amounts of damage.

Set Bonus: Shulker's Retaliation

How It Works

Three passive effects activate while wearing the full set:

1. Friendly Shulker Bullets When you are hit by an enemy, there is a 50% chance that a friendly Shulker Bullet fires back at the attacker. These bullets deal damage and apply Levitation to the enemy.

2. Crowd Defense When 4 or more hostile mobs are within close range, you receive a flat 20% damage reduction on top of your already massive armor value.

3. Status Immunity You are completely immune to the Levitation and Wither status effects.

Best used in: End Cities and The Nest, where mob density is high and the Crowd Defense passive stays active. Also excellent for the Shulking boss fight, where Levitation immunity negates its primary mechanic.

How to Obtain

Two methods:

  1. Crafted at the Altar of The Accursed (check the Endonomicon for the recipe).
  2. Dropped by the Shulking boss. See Bosses -- Shulking.

Floral Armor (Ranged)

Designed for archers and crossbow users. Floral Armor boosts projectile power at the cost of melee effectiveness.

Base Stats

Stat Value
Armor 20
Armor Toughness 12
Arrow Velocity +25%
Arrow Damage +10%
Melee Damage -20%

Melee Penalty

Floral Armor reduces your melee damage by 20%. If you are forced into melee combat, you will deal noticeably less damage. Keep your distance.

Set Bonus: Blooming Fury

How It Works

Two passive effects activate while wearing the full set:

1. Exploding Flowers When you shoot an enemy with a projectile (arrow, bolt, trident), an exploding flower blooms on the target. After a short delay, the flower detonates and deals area damage. Flowers stack -- hitting the same target multiple times creates multiple flowers, each of which detonates independently.

2. Floral Camouflage While sneaking inside tall plants (grass, ferns, flowers, crops), you become invisible to hostile mobs. This allows you to set up ambush positions and snipe from concealment.

Best paired with: The Sharanga or Spectral Fury bows for rapid fire, or the Prismatic Punch crossbow for heavy single shots. Stack flowers on bosses for massive burst damage.

How to Obtain

Crafted at the Altar of The Accursed (check the Endonomicon for the recipe).

Elytra Variants

Stellarity adds three Elytra variants that replace the chestplate slot. Each offers different flight characteristics and passive effects.

Phantom Wings

Stat Value
Source Phantom drop (3-15% chance)
Availability Pre-Dragon (obtainable before killing the Ender Dragon)
Flight Distance 50% of standard Elytra
Special Reduced gravity while worn
Details

Phantom Wings are the earliest Elytra variant you can obtain -- they drop from Phantoms in the Overworld, meaning you can fly before ever entering the End.

The trade-off is significant: Phantom Wings only provide 50% of the flight distance of a standard Elytra. You will need to land and relaunch more frequently. However, the reduced gravity effect makes landings gentler and gives you more control in the air.

Best for: Early-game flight and exploration before you have access to the End.

Dragon Wings

Stat Value
Source Ender Dragon drop (20% chance)
Armor 3
Armor Toughness 2
Special 60% damage reduction while gliding
Details

Dragon Wings are the combat-focused Elytra. Unlike standard Elytra, they provide actual armor and toughness values in the chestplate slot, so you do not sacrifice as much defense for flight.

The standout feature is the 60% damage reduction while gliding. This makes you incredibly tough to kill in the air -- useful for flying through dangerous biomes or strafing bosses.

Best for: Combat situations where you need to fly and fight simultaneously. The armor values make Dragon Wings a legitimate piece of defensive equipment.

Empress Wings

Stat Value
Source Empress of Light (10% night / 50% day)
Speed +10% movement speed
Fall Damage -25%
Special Rainbow trail while flying
Details

The best Elytra variant in Stellarity. Empress Wings provide a 10% movement speed boost (active even while walking), reduce fall damage by 25%, and leave a rainbow particle trail behind you while gliding.

They have no combat-specific bonuses like Dragon Wings, but the movement speed and fall damage reduction make them the most comfortable Elytra for general use.

Best for: Everything. The Empress Wings are the endgame Elytra -- once you have them, there is little reason to use anything else (unless you need Dragon Wings' combat defense for a specific fight).
