DnT Custom Enchantments

Dungeons & Taverns adds 17 custom enchantments found exclusively in DnT structures. These range from combat upgrades to mobility boosts to curses, and many are locked behind specific dungeons.

Making Enchantments Renewable

Most DnT enchantments can be made renewable by placing a Lectern inside the structure where the enchantment is found, assigning a Villager the Librarian profession, and leveling them from Novice to Apprentice. The Librarian will then offer the structure's enchantment as a trade. This works because the game checks the structure boundaries when generating Librarian trades.

Detailed Breakdown

Combat Enchantments

Aerial's Bane

Effect: Deals bonus damage to mobs that are in the air (jumping, flying, or falling).

Applies to: Weapons

Found in: Lone Citadel, Sealing Halls, End Castle

Notes: Particularly effective in the End against Shulker-levitated mobs and against Phantoms. Pairs well with Gravity, which can launch mobs upward.

Illager's Bane

Effect: Deals bonus damage to all Illager-type mobs (Pillagers, Vindicators, Evokers, Ravagers, etc.).

Applies to: Weapons

Found in: Illager Manor, Illager Hideout

Notes: Invaluable if you plan to raid Woodland Mansions, Pillager Outposts, or the Ships structures on the server.

Might

Effect: Functions like Power but for Crossbows, increasing bolt damage.

Applies to: Crossbows

Found in: Lone Citadel

Notes: Previously, Crossbows had no equivalent of the Bow's Power enchantment. Might fills that gap.

Spiteful

Effect: Increases your damage output when your health is low.

Applies to: Weapons

Found in: Pale Residence, Shrines

Notes: A high-risk, high-reward enchantment. Strongest when you're closest to death.

Wither Coated

Effect: Inflicts the Wither status effect on mobs you hit.

Applies to: Weapons

Found in: Nether Port, Sealing Halls

Notes: Wither bypasses armor and deals damage over time. Effective against tanky mobs.

Ranged Enchantments

Blowthrough

Effect: Adds Piercing to Bows, allowing arrows to pass through multiple targets.

Applies to: Bows

Found in: Toxic Lair

Notes: Functions exactly like Crossbow Piercing but for Bows. Excellent for crowd control.

Ghasted

Effect: Transforms your arrows into Ghast fireballs on release.

Applies to: Bows

Found in: Sealing Halls

Notes: One of the rarest and most dramatic enchantments. Ghast fireballs deal explosive damage and set targets on fire. Be careful at close range.

Gravity

Effect: Arrows create a gravitational pull on impact, dragging nearby mobs toward the point of impact.

Applies to: Bows

Found in: End Castle

Notes: Crowd-control enchantment. Pull groups of mobs together, then follow up with splash potions or AoE attacks. Can also pull mobs off ledges.

Tri-shot

Effect: Adds Multishot to Bows, firing three arrows at once.

Applies to: Bows

Found in: Toxic Lair

Notes: Powerful but burns through arrows quickly. Pairs well with Infinity if you can combine them.

Defensive Enchantments

Antidote

Effect: Negates Poison and Wither status effects while the enchanted item is equipped.

Applies to: Armor

Found in: Toxic Lair

Notes: Makes you immune to two of the most annoying status effects in the game. Essential for Cave Spider areas and Wither fights.

Hydro Veil

Effect: Reduces incoming fire and explosion damage.

Applies to: Armor

Found in: Nether Keep, Sealing Halls

Notes: Stacks with Fire Protection. Extremely useful in the Nether and when fighting Creepers or TNT traps.

Utility Enchantments

Outreach

Effect: Increases the range at which you can interact with blocks (place, break, open).

Applies to: Tools

Found in: Desert Ruins

Notes: Quality-of-life enchantment. Reach further to place blocks while building, or open chests from a safer distance.

Photosynthesis

Effect: Slowly restores item durability while you stand in direct sunlight.

Applies to: Any item with durability

Found in: Jungle Ruins

Notes: Free, passive repairs as long as you're outdoors during the day. Won't work underground, at night, or in the Nether/End.

Swift Soar

Effect: Increases Happy Ghast flight speed.

Applies to: Saddle (when riding a Happy Ghast)

Found in: Nether Port, Nether Keep, Sealing Halls

Notes: Makes Happy Ghast travel significantly faster, turning them into a genuine transportation option.

Traveler

Effect: Increases sprint speed and adds step height (walk up 1-block ledges without jumping).

Applies to: Boots

Found in: Shrines, Shrine Towers, Bunker, Undead Crypts

Notes: The step height effect is the real prize. Walking up blocks without jumping feels like a completely different game.

Wax Wings

Effect: Negates the damage you take when gliding slowly with an Elytra.

Applies to: Elytra

Found in: End Castle

Notes: Removes the "stall damage" mechanic, making Elytra flight much more forgiving. A must-have for frequent flyers.

Curses

Curse of Conductivity

Effect: Causes you to attract lightning strikes during thunderstorms.

Applies to: Armor

Found in: Witch Villa

Notes: This is a curse -- it cannot be removed with a grindstone. If you equip it, avoid going outside during thunderstorms. Some players use it creatively to charge Creepers or create mob farms, but for most players this is a trap.
