World Generation¶
Our server runs a fully overhauled world generation stack. Every dimension -- the Overworld, the Nether, and the End -- has been rebuilt from the ground up using four community datapacks. If you have played on vanilla servers before, expect to be surprised the moment you step through a portal (or just look around spawn).
The Datapack Stack¶
Here is a quick rundown of what shapes every block you walk on.
Overworld¶
Two packs work together here
Terralith handles biomes, surface decoration, and structures. Terratonic handles the large-scale shape of continents, mountains, and oceans. Together they produce an Overworld that feels like an entirely different game.
- Terralith -- 95+ new biomes, dramatic terrain features, and custom structures, all built with vanilla blocks.
- Terratonic -- Continent-scale terrain shaping: massive landmasses, deep oceans, and towering mountain ranges that approach the build limit.
Nether¶
- Incendium -- A complete Nether overhaul with new biomes, structures, bosses, and custom loot.
End¶
- Stellarity -- Reimagines the End with new islands, biomes, mobs, and endgame content.
What This Means for You¶
Do I need to install anything?
Nope. The datapacks run on the server side. You connect with a normal vanilla or modded client and everything just works. No resource pack is required either -- all terrain is built from vanilla blocks.
Will my maps or coordinates from other servers work here?
No. Because the terrain generator is completely different, biome placement, ocean locations, and continent shapes will not match vanilla seeds or online seed maps. Use our live map or the in-game /locate command to find what you need.
Exploring new chunks
World generation only applies when chunks are created for the first time. If the server has already generated terrain in an area, it will stay as-is even after datapack updates. Occasional chunk borders between old and new terrain are normal.
