Dungeons & Taverns

Mod Details

Pack: Dungeons & Taverns v5.1.0 Author: nova_wostra Dimensions: Overworld, Nether, End Structures: 40+

Dungeons & Taverns (DnT) is the largest structure pack on the server. It adds over 40 hand-crafted structures across all three dimensions, each filled with custom loot, trial spawners, vaults, and unique enchantments you won't find anywhere else.

Companion Packs

DnT ships with two companion overhauls that rework vanilla structures:

Companion Version What It Changes
Ancient City Overhaul v2 Redesigns Ancient Cities with slimmer walls, maze-like layouts, residential houses, Illager camps, alarm towers, big chambers, and archaeology. Reduced shrieker count.
Jungle Temple Overhaul v1.2 Replaces Jungle Temples with 4 new variants featuring Bogged mobs, custom loot, and archaeology.

Structure Progression

DnT's defining feature is its chart and map progression system. You don't just stumble into the hardest dungeons -- you earn your way there.

Start Here

Your first goal is to find a Tavern. Taverns spawn in plains, forests, and other common biomes. Inside, a Cartographer villager sells maps that point you toward dungeons, dungeons contain charts to harder dungeons, and the chain continues all the way to endgame structures like the Lone Citadel and Piglin Donjon.

How Charts Work

  1. Visit a Tavern and trade with the Cartographer for a structure map.
  2. Follow the map to the marked structure.
  3. Clear the structure -- defeat mobs, open vaults, and loot chests.
  4. Find charts inside the loot that lead to the next structure in the chain.
  5. Repeat until you reach the endgame structures.
