NeoEnchant

NeoEnchant adds 36 custom enchantments that can only be found by exploring the world. Unlike regular enchantments, these never appear in enchanting tables -- they are exclusive rewards from Dungeons & Taverns structures. If you want them, you have to go out and find them.

Structure-Exclusive

NeoEnchant enchantments cannot be obtained from enchanting tables, fishing, or villager trades in regular villages. They are found only in Dungeons & Taverns structure loot chests and from special librarians inside those structures.

How to Get NeoEnchant Enchantments

There are two ways to obtain these enchantments, and both require exploration.

Source 1: Structure Loot Chests

Dungeons & Taverns structures generate throughout the world with loot chests that can contain NeoEnchant enchanted books. Explore dungeons, taverns, and other generated structures, and check every chest you find.

Maximize Your Chances

Different structures have different loot pools. Exploring a variety of structure types gives you access to a wider range of enchantments. Do not just stick to one type.

Source 2: Renewable Librarians

Certain Dungeons & Taverns structures contain special villager librarians that sell NeoEnchant enchanted books as trades. These librarians are renewable -- you can trade with them as many times as you can afford, making this a reliable long-term source.

Not Regular Librarians

These are special librarians found inside Dungeons & Taverns structures, not the ones you create from regular villagers. Regular librarians will never sell NeoEnchant books.

Weapon Enchantments (13)

These enchantments apply to swords and axes, enhancing your melee combat with powerful offensive abilities.

Berserk

Max Level: III

Increases your damage output when you are at low health. The lower your health drops, the harder you hit. Each level increases the damage bonus, rewarding aggressive play when you are on the edge.

Brawler

Max Level: V

Increases your unarmed damage significantly. Each level adds more punch damage, making bare-fisted combat a viable option. At max level, your fists become a serious weapon.

Combo

Max Level: III

Consecutive hits on the same target deal increasing damage. The first hit is normal, but each follow-up strike hits harder. Missing or switching targets resets the combo. Rewards sustained aggression.

Crippling Strike

Max Level: II

Applies Slowness to enemies on hit. Slowed targets cannot run away or close distance effectively. Higher levels increase the duration of the slow effect.

Deadeye

Max Level: III

Increases projectile damage at longer range. The farther your projectile travels before hitting, the more bonus damage it deals. Rewards skilled aim at distance.

Envenomed

Max Level: III

Applies Poison on hit. The poison deals damage over time after your initial strike. Higher levels increase the poison duration and potency.

Frost Aspect

Max Level: II

Slows and freezes targets on hit, similar to the freezing effect from Powder Snow. A cold counterpart to Fire Aspect that impairs enemy movement instead of dealing burn damage.

Hemorrhage

Max Level: III

Applies a bleeding damage-over-time effect on hit. Targets take sustained damage after being struck. Higher levels increase the bleed damage and duration.

Life Drain

Max Level: III

Steals health from the target with each hit. A portion of your damage is returned as healing, keeping you alive during extended fights. Higher levels increase the amount healed.

Momentum

Max Level: III

Build up speed while sprinting and attacking. Consecutive attacks while sprinting grant increasing speed boosts, making you faster the longer you stay aggressive. Stopping or getting hit resets the momentum.

Reaper

Max Level: I

Gives a chance to instantly kill low-health mobs. When a mob drops below a health threshold, your next hit has a chance to execute them outright. Does not work on bosses or players.

Thunderstrike

Max Level: III

Gives a chance to strike lightning on the target when you hit them. The lightning bolt deals additional damage to the target and nearby entities. Higher levels increase the trigger chance.

Weighted

Max Level: III

Increases knockback on critical hits. When you land a critical hit (falling strike), the target is sent flying much farther than normal. Higher levels increase the knockback distance.

Armor Enchantments (12)

These enchantments apply to helmets, chestplates, leggings, and boots, providing defensive abilities and survivability.

Absorption

Max Level: III

Grants passive absorption hearts (golden hearts) while wearing the armor. These extra hearts absorb damage before your real health is touched. Higher levels provide more absorption hearts.

Deflection

Max Level: III

Gives a chance to deflect incoming projectiles. Arrows, fireballs, and other projectiles can be redirected away from you. Higher levels increase the deflection chance.

Evasion

Max Level: III

Gives a chance to completely dodge an attack, taking no damage. When evasion triggers, the attack is negated entirely. Higher levels increase the dodge chance.

Fortified

Max Level: III

Reduces damage from explosions. Creepers, TNT, and other explosive sources deal less damage to you. Higher levels provide greater explosion resistance.

Last Stand

Max Level: III

Grants damage resistance when you drop to low health. When your health falls below a threshold, incoming damage is reduced, giving you a chance to heal or escape. Higher levels increase the resistance and raise the health threshold.

Molten Shell

Max Level: II

When you are hit, there is a chance the attacker is set on fire. Melee attackers take fire damage for striking you. Higher levels increase the fire duration and trigger chance.

Phalanx

Max Level: II

Reduces damage taken while blocking with a shield. When you are actively blocking, incoming damage is reduced beyond the shield's normal protection. Higher levels increase the damage reduction.

Resilience

Max Level: III

Speeds up recovery from negative status effects. Poison, Slowness, Weakness, and other debuffs wear off faster. Higher levels further reduce the duration of negative effects.

Second Wind

Max Level: II

Triggers a burst of Regeneration when you drop below half health. The sudden healing can turn a losing fight around. Has an internal cooldown to prevent constant triggering.

Steadfast

Max Level: III

Reduces knockback taken from all sources. Getting hit pushes you back less, helping you hold your ground in combat. Higher levels further reduce knockback.

Thorned

Max Level: III

An enhanced version of Thorns. Reflects more damage back to attackers than vanilla Thorns, and with a higher trigger chance. Higher levels increase both the reflected damage and trigger rate.

Vitality

Max Level: III

Increases your maximum health. Each level adds bonus hearts beyond the default 10. At max level, you have significantly more health, making you much harder to kill.

Tool Enchantments (5)

These enchantments apply to pickaxes, axes, shovels, and hoes, improving mining and resource gathering.

Excavation

Max Level: III

Mines in a larger area (3x3) instead of a single block. Each swing breaks a 3x3 section in the direction you are mining. Higher levels may increase the area further. Extremely efficient for clearing large spaces.

Lumberjack

Max Level: I

Chops down entire trees by breaking a single log. All connected log blocks break at once, along with their leaves. One swing, one tree.

Magnetic

Max Level: III

Sends mined items directly to your inventory instead of dropping them on the ground. If your inventory is full, items drop as normal. Higher levels may increase the pickup radius.

Prospector

Max Level: III

Gives a chance for bonus ore drops when mining. When triggered, you receive extra drops from the ore block. Higher levels increase the bonus chance and amount.

Refining

Max Level: III

Automatically smelts mined blocks into their processed form. Iron ore drops ingots, gold ore drops ingots, sand drops glass. Eliminates the furnace step entirely.

Bow & Crossbow Enchantments (4)

These enchantments apply to bows and crossbows, enhancing your ranged combat.

Homing

Max Level: I

Arrows gently track nearby targets, adjusting their flight path toward the nearest entity. The tracking is subtle -- arrows curve slightly rather than making sharp turns. Helps compensate for moving targets.

Impact

Max Level: III

Increases arrow knockback. Targets hit by your arrows are pushed back significantly farther. Higher levels increase the knockback distance. Useful for keeping enemies at range.

Rapid Fire

Max Level: III

Speeds up bow draw time and crossbow loading time. You can fire arrows more frequently, increasing your sustained ranged DPS. Higher levels reduce the draw/load time further.

Volley

Max Level: III

Shoots multiple arrows with each shot. Instead of firing one arrow, you release a spread of projectiles. Higher levels increase the number of arrows in the volley. Only consumes one arrow from your inventory.

Universal Enchantments (2)

These enchantments can be applied to any item type.

Soulbound

Max Level: I

Keeps the item in your inventory when you die. Instead of dropping on the ground, the item stays with you through death. One of the most valuable enchantments available -- put it on gear you cannot afford to lose.

Unbreakable

Max Level: I

The item never loses durability. It is effectively indestructible. No matter how much you use it, the durability bar stays full. The ultimate quality-of-life enchantment for any piece of gear.

The Rarest Find

Unbreakable is extremely powerful and correspondingly rare. If you find one, use it wisely -- it eliminates all repair costs for the item it is applied to.
